Data is essential for the development of smart cities, enabling informed and impactful decisions with trustworthy information. Using real-life examples from two European cities, we will explore the critical role of data in shaping innovative and sustainable urban environments. We will look at how cities can turn data into action - promoting growth, transforming public engagement and designing services that genuinely reflect citizens’ needs. We will see how these data-driven approaches enhance sustainability, resilience and overall quality of life. Participants in this workshop will be engaged through interactive tools and participatory techniques.
